The Royal Enclosure at Royal Ascot

Originally established for the running of the Gold Cup in 1807, the Royal Enclosure was a space exclusively reserved for the guests of King George III. Today, this historic heart of Royal Ascot is a centrepiece of the British Social season.

Our two recommendations will give you prime viewing of the fabulous Royal Procession and of the day's racing. The Green Yard Restaurant is within the Royal Enclosure and, we will be delighted to arrange the hiring of your hat and morning suit to help with your packing. Carriages Restaurant is just to the side of the Royal Enclosure and has a wonderful atmosphere and superb views of the racing and the procession. A morning suit is not required in Carriages.
