Royal Ascot

As Britain’s most valuable race meeting, Royal Ascot is revered across the globe and attracts many of racing’s finest horses to compete for millions of pounds in prize money, with six world-class races on the card each afternoon..
Royal Ascot is of course equally synonymous with sartorial elegance, being awash with exquisite fashion and the most magnificent millinery creations, while an abundance of dining options makes it the perfect occasion for socialising.
While all five days offer their own distinct character, each is a whirlwind of excitement and colour, and shares the same glorious atmosphere and sense of occasion. Each is unmistakably Royal Ascot.

THE ROYAL ENCLOSURE AT ROYAL ASCOT

Originally established for the running of the Gold Cup in 1807, the Royal Enclosure was a space exclusively reserved for the guests of King George III. Today, this historic heart of Royal Ascot is a centrepiece of the British Social season.

Our two recommendations will give you prime viewing of the fabulous Royal Procession and of the day’s racing.
The Green Yard Restaurant is within the Royal Enclosure and, as we discussed, we will be delighted to arrange the hiring of your hat and morning suit to help with your packing.
Carriages Restaurant is just to the side of the Royal Enclosure and has a wonderful atmosphere and super views of the racing and the procession. Morning suit is not required in Carriages.

Travel time from Central London to Ascot Racecourse is 1hour 5minutes but may vary dependant on traffic.
