The Gardens & Floristry Collection

Imagine the opportunity to visit the gardens at Buckingham Palace or explore the extraordinary garden displays at Chelsea Flower Show hosted by The Queen’s favourite florist and garden designer.

Their knowledge and passion is endless and their wonderful hosting skills can be enjoyed by your clients at the amazing gardens across the country.

Queen Elizabeth has always been a strong supporter of the RHS and visits Chelsea Flower Show every year, but it was the Golden Jubilee Windsor garden re-design that reignited her love for gardening.

Alan Titchmarsh has insider knowledge from his time filming the Buckingham Palace gardens, and he has shared “what becomes quite evident is she loves what we would call English cottage garden flowers, unostentatious flowers, not things that are too exotic.”

Our Jubilee Collection hosts have all worked with and for The Queen designing her gardens and floral arrangements for her favourite homes.

Buckingham Palace’s 39-acre garden is The Queen’s private London garden, but it also plays a key part in the busy calendar of royal events such as The Queen’s Garden Parties, which in an average year see around 24,000 guests. For over 200 years the garden has been used by the Royal Family for official entertaining and celebratory events.

Enjoy a wonderful visit to the ‘walled oasis in the middle of London’. The garden is the largest private garden in the capital and boasts 325 wild-plant species, 30 species of breeding birds, and over 1,000 trees, including 98 plane trees and 85 different species of oak.

Enjoy a privately-guided tour of the gardens with Simon Lycett, royal florist, who will bring the garden to life. He has an understanding of garden design and will share his understanding of the royal floral preferences to offer a very personal view of the Buckingham Palace gardens.

He is the perfect, knowledgeable – and hugely entertaining - host to accompany you around the beautiful royal gardens.

If you love gardening as much as Her Majesty does, or you want to be inspired and delighted by the green-fingered skills of the best garden designers in the world, then visiting the Chelsea Flower Show is a must. The Queen regularly attends the Chelsea Flower Show. Organised by the Royal Horticultural Society and the RHS Chelsea Flower Show is hosted in the grounds of the Royal Hospital and is the pinnacle of garden design.

During your time at RHS Chelsea Flower Show, see specialist nurseries revealing new plants for the first time, witness cutting-edge garden design and most importantly finding new ideas to take home to your garden. Since 2021, there has been a new category: Sanctuary Gardens and that highlights the positive impact plants have on our health and wellbeing — a theme which will trickle into many gardens in the future.

Enjoy a privately-guided tour with Simon Lycett, royal florist, who is on the RHS Show Committee so can offer a personal aspect to the Chelsea Flower Show. Follow this with the stunning hospitality within Raymond Blanc’s “Jardin Blanc” including a light breakfast, four-course lunch and afternoon tea as well as an exclusive demonstration or guest speaker and live music.
