Open water swimming has really taken off over the last few years. Sport England said that in 2019 over four million people took the plunge in rivers and
lakes across the country.
Open water swimming has taken place in Henley since around the 1890's and since hosts four events throughout the summer months.
Alternatively, if you are new to open water swimming and would like to take to the waters with a trusted guide, there are areas of the river where you
can avoid both rowers and boats alike.
