Windsor Great Park is one of the most stunning areas of parkland with ancient oak forests
and wide-open deer parks, under the distant gaze of the beautiful English castle. Enjoy spectacular views of Windsor Castle, The Long Walk and The Copper Horse and learn more about Her Majesty The Queen's childhood home here at Windsor.

Each tour is tailored to your interests in the Park and Windsor history, and is suitable for all ages. Children as young as three will be kept engaged and those under three tend to fall asleep to the rhythm of the carriage.
Your carriage driver will will make you feel like royalty and will happily share the experience of living and working in the Park for over 50 years, and who proudly continue the 165 year old tradition of Windsor’s licensed carriages on the Long Walk dating back to 1849.
The carriage is accessed via two wide low steps with handrails and is suitable for all abilities. Pushchairs can be stowed under the seats, while blankets and umbrellas are available in the event of unexpected inclement weather.
Carriages operate year round on bright cheerful sun-filled days, as the carriage is open top.

During the ride we share in the history of the Great Park and the generations of Windsor carriages and horses. All while you take in the stunning views of Windsor Castle, meet the resident deer and encounter historical monuments, ancient forests and stunning horticultural displays.
A 50-minute return trip with views of the Copper Horse (The statue of King George III), The Royal Mausoleum, Frogmore House and The Royal Dairy. This tour also offers the rare experience of a drive through the Windsor Great Park Deer enclosure with its herd of some 500 roaming deer descended from breeding stock from Her Majesty’s Balmoral estate.

Each tour is tailored to your interest in The Park, the commemorative statues, and history of The Royal Family, notable Flora, fauna and the multiple sites of scientific interest.
